The National Trial Lawyers

Mario R. Giommoni is a Partner at Ratzan Weissman & Boldt. Prior to joining RWB, Mario worked at the Boldt Law Firm while attending law school as a second-year law student. Mario was awarded the Merit Law Scholarship in law school and received his J.D., magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University in 2012. During law school, Mario was an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review, receiving the Red Pen Award for Best Editor of the Year from 2011 through 2012.

Prior to attending law school, Mario graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2008, double majoring in Finance and International Business. During college, Mario studied abroad in the Republic of Panama focusing on Latin American politics and business contracts.

Since joining the firm, has become an integral member of Ratzan Weissman & Boldt’s litigation trial team, representing catastrophically injured clients in courtrooms throughout the United States. He focuses his practice on catastrophic negligence, medical malpractice, products liability, wrongful death, and complex commercial disputes.

Mario has been consistently recognized for his legal work, including selection as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and recognition by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer. His work has contributed to multiple six-, seven-, and even eight-figure settlements and verdicts on behalf of seriously injured clients and their families, including the $45 million verdict secured for the family against Orlando Health, a $46.5 million verdict for a brain-injured child in Arkansas, and a significant result on behalf of a 23-year-old’s family.

Through his trial practice, Mario has established a reputation for handling complex, high-stakes litigation and pursuing accountability for clients facing life-altering injuries and losses.

Fluent in Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, Mario was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Italian parents and moved to South Florida in 1997. He spent most of his time growing up outside surfing, snowboarding, and fishing. For Mario, yearly surfing trips to remote parts of the world are a must; from Brazil to Nicaragua, from Hawaii to California, surfing is what keeps Mario centered, balanced, and ultimately focused on the practice of law.
