Ryan C. Tyler is a Miami native and an associate appellate attorney at Ratzan Weissman & Boldt. Prior to practicing appellate law, Ryan worked with two premier boutique plaintiffs’ trial firms in South Florida, practicing in the areas of medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, and products liability. Since embarking on the appellate law route in 2018, Ryan has been the principal author of over 20 appellate briefs, and has successfully argued dozens of dispositive motions throughout Florida. Ryan also regularly participates in pro bono appellate matters through Florida's Guardian ad Litem program and the Legal Services of Greater Miami.
Ryan received his law degree from Florida International University in 2015. He was on the Dean’s List in both the Fall of 2014 and Spring of 2015 and received the Book Award for Insurance Law. Ryan earned his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, from the University of Central Florida in 2008, where he also minored in psychology. While in law school, Ryan interned with Judge John W. Thornton of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit's Complex Business Litigation Division and Judge Jose M. Rodriguez.
When not practicing law, Ryan is busy travelling with his fiancée, Gladys, drinking Cuban coffee (siempre con espuma), building gaming computers, and playing with his dogs, Bubba and Elvis.
